Description

Yoga, the union of the breath, body and mind.

Gently opening our workshop using our breath as our anchor, we will then move into a mindful and nourishing practice suitable for anyone, either on their mat or in a chair.

Cultivating harmony and peace, enhancing feelings of calmness and wellbeing - we will use gentle postures to stretch and help the body find its strength.

Relaxation will follow using Yoga Nidra techniques together with sound, being the perfect blend of rest and regeneration.

We will close our workshop in deep relaxation to journey with the sounds of the majestic gong, harmonious crystal singing bowls and soothing Tibetan singing bowls in a healing soundbath.

Soundbaths are a beautiful way to wash away the obstructions and smooth out the creases in our lives, allowing us to move on with the powerful affirmation of our true selves. Deeply relaxing and transformative, soundbaths can increase the meditative state and enable attainment of higher levels of consciousness.

Please bring along a yoga mat, a blanket and pillow. Anything you need to make yourself feel comfortable during this wonderful Heart of Summer Gentle Yoga and Soundbath. (Please don't bring inflatable beds or garden recliners). A bottle of water is a wonderful thing to bring too!

Please note: Soundbaths are not suitable for those with pacemakers, epilepsy / sound induced epilepsy, in the first trimester of pregnancy, with menieres, cancer or other serious illnesses. Sound / frequencies can be a trigger for some people so soundbathing is also not advised for anyone with considerable mental illness or distress.

This blissful union of yoga and soundbath will be facilitated by:
